I LOVE dinner with the girls

I have the greatest group of best friends from high school and college that will always be close to me no matter how many times we see each other or are able to talk. The "real world" is busy and time flies. Thankfully, we live in the social media age and we are able to stay connected through email, facebook, twitter, blogs, etc. I agree with most people that it causes my generation to become lazy and only keep up with our friendships that way but I also believe it helps our relationships stay strong when our lives become so crazy. After college, we start our full-time jobs, go to sleep earlier and go out less. We don't live down the hall or across campus from our friends (or in the same city) anymore so naturally we drift apart. I thank God for blessing me with friends that know how much they mean to me and how much I think about them even if we don't talk for months (and vica versa). Although, they do know that I have visited their facebook profile several times, made comments, and liked their pictures or posts. I feel like I know exactly what they are up to just by looking at their page or through a simple email. Thank you social media.

Anyway, on to what this post is really about. I LOVE dinner with the girls. I am lucky enough to have two of my closest friends living in the same city as me. We met in college and were all in the same sorority. Britney and I hit it off early and she became my "little sister". Anna joined a year later and became Britney's "little sister" so we became instant friends. *All you greek life people know just what I am talking about and will understand why we are posed the way we are in the picture below* We try to get together every one or two weeks to enjoy some good food and good 'ol fashion girl talk. Tonight is our dinner night and I can't wait. I LOVE dinner with the girls (We'll miss you tonight Anna - feel better soon!)

Here's some pictures of Britney, Anna & I - enjoy!

I LOVE this dress

I saw this dress and instantly fell in LOVE with it. Green + Lace + A-Line = CLASSY! I would wear it all the time and it could be worn so many different ways. Pair it with a clean cut black blazer with black gladiator pumps for a chic look. Wear it with pearl earrings, a classic up-do and nude pumps for a feminine look. Wear it with a headband in your hair and ballet flats for a daytime look. Wear it with a cobalt blue, orange or red waist belt for a colorblocked look. The list could go on and on and on...

I would wear the look below to one of my friend's weddings. I LOVE this dress.

I LOVE Yoplait Light Dessert Yogurts

My husband brought home this delicious treat and I fell in LOVE with them. I LOVE sweets and I have a major sweet tooth. Sweets are hard for me to pass up at any time of the day especially after dinner. Now that I have begun my late 20's I know I can't eat sweets like I used to and these are the perfect substitute. We have the Boston Cream Pie & Strawberry Shortcake flavors which tasted exactly like the "real thing."
Check out the Yoplait Light website for all the different delicious (and healthy) flavors. You will fall in LOVE with them!

I LOVE Seacoast Church

My husband and I attend Seacoast Church and we both have fallen in LOVE with it. Our relationship with the Lord grows stronger after listening to Pastor Greg teach. We feel so blessed to have found a church that we look forward to attending each week. Seacoast church is one church that has many different campuses. You can also watch the service online if you are unable to actually go to church. Each campus has their own location, campus pastor and music team. Pastor Greg speaks live at the Long Point Campus in Mount Pleasant, SC and all other campuses watch the sermon via satellite.

Other campuses include:
South Carolina: Columbia, Greenville, Irmo, James Island, Manning, North Charleston, Summerville & West Ashley
North Carolina: Asheville & Greensboro
Georgia: Savannah

I highly recommend checking out the nearest Seacoast church if you don't already have a church that you regularly attend. If you don't live close to one of the campuses, check out Seacoast online. You will LOVE it!

I LOVE Friday's

TGIF! Friday's always have been and always will be something that I LOVE. Friday's somehow make everyone happier than usual. Maybe because it's the start to the weekend or because it's the end of the work week. Either way, Friday's are full of LOVE and I can't pick just one to write about. So, here are five things that I fell in LOVE with today - the Friday Five:

1. Pinterest  This website is an online catalog where members "pin" their favorite items. It has everything from Food to Fashion. I love the DIY (do-it-yourself) section. People pin items that would never cross my mind to create but I fall in LOVE with them and want to go home and do-it-myself.  I have a feeling that items found on this site will be included in my posts considering how much I LOVE it. BEWARE: This site is addicting and you may find yourself looking through it for hours!

2. Harris Teeter Footlong Friday! I LOVE that I have a job that provides free lunch everyday. It is a huge money saver and I am thankful for it. We have a menu that has about 10 different items to choose from. The food is good but eating the same food everyday can get old. I don't like to spend money on food when I am able to get it for free. Although, today is one of those days where nothing on our menu sounds good. Thankfully, Harris Teeter offers footlong subs for only $4.99 (provided you have a vic card). Healthy, cheap and delicious - I LOVE it.

3. Footloose - I LOVE the old version of the movie but I am super excited about the new version. The poster & trailer were released and I fell in LOVE with it. Julianne Hough is beautiful and I can't wait to see the movie.

4. Lauren Conrad's floral nails - I LOVE everything about Lauren Conrad: her style, her clothing line, her books, her website...everything. I follow her on Twitter and she posted a picture of a floral pattern painted on her nails and I fell in LOVE with them. I don't have the steady hand or artistic ability to do this to my own nails so I will just admire hers.

5. Frye Daisy Duke Vintage Stud (zappos.com) - LOVE at first sight. How could you not fall in LOVE with these?

Happy Friday everyone! What have you fallen in LOVE with today?

I LOVE blogs

I find myself reading through multiple blogs daily. Usually, the blogs are written by people that I know but lately I have begun to read blogs by complete strangers. I fall in LOVE with a picture they posted. I laugh at their jokes. I connect with them without their knowledge. Blogs are another way to stay connected in such a busy world. I wanted to be included in the blogging community so I went ahead a created my own. I hope you LOVE it :)
