I LOVE beremedy

This past weekend was spent with some of our best friends, Britney & Britt. They introduced Michael and I to some of their best friends, Blake and Amy. We had so much fun and we were able to get to know a lot about each other including Blake's organization, beremedy.

beremedy is the organization that Blake started because he had the desire to help people in need and he had a vision to make it happen. He saw the need and he became the remedy.

So, what is beremedy? The website descibes it as:

beremedy is an organization connecting people who need help with those who want to give it via social media. We feel that most people would help if they simply knew the needs in their local community. Through applications like Twitter and Facebook, beremedy alerts people when someone in their community needs help. Members then respond to the message or pass on the message to those they feel can.

Why do I LOVE it?

I've heard about beremedy through Britt in the past and have always thought it sounded like something great. After meeting Blake this past weekend it was obvious that he not only "wanted" to help those in need but he has a strong passion for helping those in need. He is determined to be the remedy no matter what it takes. I know most of you will not be able to meet Blake personally so I highly suggest that you "meet" him here by watching the video at the top of the page (the pretty brunette on her phone at the beginning of the video is Amy) and learn more about beremedy by searching the website.

What can you do to support beremdy?

Follow them on Twitter: @beremedy
Like them on Facebook: beremedy facebook
Sign up for Need Mail: beremedy Need Mail
Spread the word...the more people who are able to see the needs the more needs will be met. Even though this is an Atlanta based company doesn't mean you can't help because you don't live there. Even a simple retweet on Twitter or a share on Facebook may cause someone to read your tweet/post who can fulfill the need. Spread the word.

It was so nice to meet Blake & Amy this weekend and I am looking forward to future visits. Good Luck to beremedy...I'll be following from here on out!

LOVE, sje
